Developed an inclusion and diversity training for 150K employees.

Background:

Large national retailer was in need of customized diversity and inclusion training for its 150K associates around the country. The need was to develop a training that was versitle enough to be used in the stores, werehouses and executive offices but still convey the same message.

Strategy Implemented:

Holding focus groups with store and site managers to understand training needs and logistic challenges, developed a customized diversity and inclusion visual training that consisted of different aspects of the company that all employees could relate to and was kept customer focused and tied into achieving the company's long term business goals. Each participant came away with their own action plan of next steps.

Results:

Training was rolled out to all 150K employees. Employee engagement score have improved and diversity and inclusion is now rated at the top of the company's efforts to support employee retention.
